THE-1950s-INFRAPHIL-WORD-MARK
Apart from the Philips logo and word
mark, Philips also used a dedicated logo
or word mark on their Infraphil heat lamp
products. From 1948 on a logo was used
that consisted of a rectangle with
rounded corners with the brand name
infraphil in it. On the first letter i of
infraphil was a star that partly jutted out
of the rectangle. There were quite a few
variations in style and colour and
although the star most commonly had
eight points, a variant with five points
also has been used.
