Philips Infraphil 7525 heat lamp
Philips Infraphil 7525 heat lamp
INFRAPHIL-7525
The first Philips Infraphil heat lamp and
armature carried number 7525 and was
intended for both medical and domestic
use. It was equipped with a circular grip
with which the angle of the lamp could be
adjusted. The grip was chromium-plated.
The blown glass lamp lacked a red filter
making the use of eye-protectors
necessary. The base and the housing
were both made of varnished plated
aluminium. A circular black Philips logo
was mounted on the varnished clamp that
fixed the grip to the base. Its production
started in 1946 and it was the first in a
long line of similar products.
